Kevin DunningFounding Artistic Director
Kevin Dunning has served the theatre in NYC, San Francisco and across the country for over 20 years. In New York, Kevin worked with The Nederlander Broadway dynasty in their producing executive offices in Times Square, working with hit shows such as Wicked, The Lion King, Beauty and The Beast, Tarzan, The Drowsy Chaperone, Rent, and Movin' Out. Kevin started his Broadway career watching full runs of shows on house management teams in multiple Broadway and Off-Broadway venues in Times Square. His first directing effort was as Assistant Director for the Off-Broadway play Nightswimming by Jeffrey Keilholtz. In the San Francisco Bay Area, he has donated his time and talent to multiple producing companies, including Lamplighters Music Theatre, West Edge Opera, Custom Made Theatre Co., and at the Douglas Morrisson Theater. Kevin holds a BA in Musical Theatre from SUNY New Paltz, and holds intensive certifications in Sound, Voice & Music Healing from the California Institute of Integral Studies, and the Vox Mundi School of Sound & The Voice under Grammy-nominated recording artist Silvia Nakkach. Kevin also has a career serving myriad confidential international clientele in the majority of the 'Global Top Five' executive search firms. Kevin was the only person to produce nearly 80 Shakespearean sonnets in daily tandem with Sir Patrick Stewart's own #asonnetaday offerings during the COVID pandemic in 2020. Recent work includes appearances in Fairyland (American Zoetrope), Babylon (Paramount Pictures), and multiple voiced characters for Voices of Wynn, the voice mod for Guinness Book of World Records-noted MMORPG Wynncraft. Favorite acting credits include The Secret Garden (Archibald Craven), The Mikado (Nanki-Poo), Camelot (Mordred), Brilliant Traces (Henry Harry). |
